Hi Paul, Thanks for reminding me about this book. I read it [a few] years ago. I [still often] use the square brackets [WZ talks about] to id [all] those unnecessary words[, as I review my and others’ work]. I’m always surprised how much filler I use [in my writing]!

Good point, Trent. I found myself going over your comment and reading just the bits outside the square brackets to see if it still made sense. It did!
